Please see the link below. The FCC has ruled in our favor. The FCC has given Cablevison 30 days to comply. I did read somewhere, that Cablevision is thinking about yet another appeal, or perhaps just ignoring the FCC mandate.

Keep your fingers crossed everyone!

Here is Cablevision's Reply - It is not over yet.

"Today's disappointing rulings do not appear to be based on the facts," said Cablevision in a statement. "The data clearly demonstrates that there has been no competitive harm to the nation's two largest phone companies as a result of not having two HD channels they already receive in SD. New York is the most competitive market in the country and this decision only hurts fair competition and consumers. Instead of competing on the merits in the marketplace, Verizon and AT&T are manipulating federal law to gain an unfair advantage and we have every intention of pursuing relief in the courts."

I can't wait for Cablevision to be rejected again...I want my Rangers in HD!!!!!!!

The good news is that this now needs to be acted upon within 30 days, even if the action is Cablevision's appeal. In the last few if these things I've followed, the court decisions have been very fast compared to how long it takes the FCC to act. MSG/Cablevision might even need an injunction to fight this, I'm not sure. After reading the FCC ruling, I just don't understand how they think they can justify this and get a judge to take their side.
