I watch all regular season N Y Ranger hockey games via NHL Center Ice. I would like to listen to the Ranger announcers for all games. Even some of the home games have the visiting team announcers (I assume that is an NHL Center Ice/MSG issue not yours). Many of the games are not shown on NHL Center Ice and are on NHL Network or NBCSports, which brings hockey to more people, but has non-MSG announcers.
NHL Playoff games are not on NHL Center Ice, but various NBC channels. EXCEPT for the Capitals/Rangers series which were only on CSN Sports. Not only did I not get the Ranger announcers on home games, I had to put up with the Caps announcers which I don't like.
I realize most of the above is not Verizon's issues (I am venting). My question to you is there any chance of you providing MSG to us transplants in Virginia? I believe you provide it in your Premier package with DirecTV, but I would rather not go to a dish.
Thanks for your consideration,

Please, no more requests ofr out of market RSNs.
Very few people will see it and we will all have to pay for it.
Not to mention it would take up another valuable HD slot.

Do you realize what a small audience there is for this request?
I many of us would be so happy to have all the MSG channels in HD. I really could careless who the announcers are Verizon does NOT even offer all the MSG channels in HD (MSG+2 HD is missing!)

The only way to get what you want is to get DirecTV or Game Center Live online, but even then, you'll have to watch the games on CSN in our area whenever they play the Caps. Verizon would have to completely overhaul their channel structure and allocate tons of channel space to accomplish what you are asking for. It makes much more sense for them right now to carry regional channels in their respective markets, and carry the out of market games in a package from iNDemand.
As for the playoff games, yes the first round of the playoffs are carried on regional channels only inside their markets. Everywhere outside of those markets, the games are exclusive to the NBC channels, so you cannot not see MSG playoff games outside of the NYC region anywhere, not even DirecTV. The only way to avoid our CSN announcers would be to move back to the NYC region to be with all the other Rangers fans.
