Master STB

The master stb was unplugged and moved. How do you restore program guide information and or access to help? Resetting the box doesn't fix the problem.

Hello,

A few things to confirm:

1) Check that the room you moved the set top box to has a good working coax connection (have you had an STB there prior)?

2) Check that the cables/cords are connected properly:

   a) Coax from the wall or floor goes to the "TV In" port at the back of the STB.

   b) If the STB and TV are high-def, then you'd have HDMI or component cables connected from the STB to the TV.

If the STB and TV are standard, then you'd have a second coax or red-white-yellow cables connected from the STB to the TV.

   c) the power cord is connected from the box to a power outlet/strip.

Are you getting all your channels, though, from the set top box and it's just the guide and help that doesn't work?

If so, you can go to:

http://www22.verizon.com/Support/Residential/TV/fix.htm

and try the steps mentioned under "Set-Top Box or DVR not working", plus the link that says 'let us fix the problem for you".

Also, if you have access to the Menu from your FiOS TV remote, you can try:

Menu -- Customer Support -- In Home Agent -- Reboot STB

Menu -- Customer Support -- In Home Agent -- Set Top Box Auto-Correction

Menu -- Customer Support -- Self Diagnostics - Start  (check that everything looks OK and Successful).

If you still have issues, you can contact Technical Support via live chat from http://www22.verizon.com/content/contactus/  or by calling 1-888-553-1555.

Hope this helps!
