Missed Programs Due to Outage, and Now Have to Pay for On Demand ?!?!?

My family missed many programs on Monday night (9/21) due to the Keller/Dallas TX service outage, but when we checked for the programs On Demand we found that they were either not available, Or We Would Have to Pay for the Replay! Why?!?

At most they might give you a credit for regular service.  They are not going to give you a credit for any PPV you want to use to watch a show you missed.

Note that many shows take a few days before they appear free on VOD.  Which shows do are up to the individual channel owners and not Verizon.  Also true for PPV show, the content owners choice what programs the charge for exceptt for the small number of movies and speical events that Verizon itself offers.
