Missing previous episodes (Glee, Modern Family, etc)

All,

Up until the recent channel guide update I could see previous episodes of Glee, Modern Family and most other show we watch.  Due to an order screw up (Verizon didn't have our video associated with our account so the new menu guide didn't work) we couldn't save those and some other shows recently.  We assumed we'd be able to catch them on VOD as we could before the "upgrade", but they aren't there.  They also aren't on pay per view.  Any idea why they suddenly aren't on VOD and any suggestions where we could find them?

The VOD for these shows only carry about 3-4 weeks back worth of episodes. Anything older would have been erased from the VOD server. This is not because of the changeover to the new guide, this is standard operation. If there are absolutely no episodes for these shows, well thats a problem then and to please send me a private message.
