Mobile App Cannot Watch Live or Video since update on Android tablet

Have been trying to get resolved for 3 days. Never had a problem before update 3 days ago. Now when I try to live stream or even watch on demand, as soon as show starts to load, app closes with message... Sorry Verizon FiOS has stopped working. And nobody can resolve it. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, have cleared cache, etc etc. Clearly something changed on Verizon's end when they updated. Anyone else have this issue?
