More channels on Xbox App

Please support my idea to add more channels to the Xbox App. Especially with the addition of network channels, it could make using an Xbox as a set top box replacement more viable.

Think about that statement for a minute, then draw your own conclusion as to why Verizon wouldn't want that to occur. 😉

THey are not that bad.  Or they wouldn't offer any channels on Xbox.  But the problem is they can only offer National and some regional channels that they carry at the moment.  They would have to carry all locals  for the networks (100's of NBC/CBS/ABC/FOX channels).  Each has exclusive rights to programs shown in their area.  E.g. in Tampa their are two ABC's and one ONLY is allowed to carry the prime time programs in Tampa, while over the bay in Bradenton both have the Prime time shows.

Yes, they are that bad. They charge $5 a month for a freaking cable card.

Yeah they wouldn't offer it all if that was the case. Same with all thier other streaming apps, though granted watching on an ipad is a bit different from being able to watch on your tv itself. I figure part of it is that the group of people who own/ might be willing to use an xbox as a primary tv navigation device are those most at risk of becoming cordcutters completely.

True re: number of channels issue but their ability to do it on their mobile app means it's possible.
