I have experienced more than 12 Reboots over the last 7 months (from November 2017 to June 2018). The problem seems worse now that FIOS is using graphic-rich icons. The reboots are not "spontaneous" but in each case which I have documented I was using a button on the remote (often GUIDE). The box has been replaced once for this issue without improvement. Technical support has suggested rebooting the router but I can't tell if this has helped of if I must keep rebooting the old box. My guess is that the new software is too demanding of the resources in the box. Apparently there is no diagnostic log or crash report available.
It could be that the box hardware is failing as well.
