Movie Channels vs Movie Packages

Is it possible to order only movie channels that you like instead

of movie packages?

Is it worthwhile (moneywise) to say, have only Showtime vs having a package?

The content providers want packages.

The best you could get FIOS to do is to split each exactly along each content providers channels, instead of their current packages.  This might split a few of the smaller ones off.

   I called today and was told that Showtime would be $17, but for $24, I could get

   Showtime, Starz, Encore, TMC, Epix, etc (all but HBO & Cinemax).
