I have two DVR's and a STB. The STB and one DVR are in upstairs bedrooms with the other DVR downstairs. The STB will only see the upstairs DVR and I would rather have it working with the downstairs DVR.

For a DVR to broadcast to other STB in the house it has to be flagged as a Home Media DVR. You will likelly need to phone customer service and ask them to change up which of your DVRs is the Home Media DVR.
Problem is many CS reps think it's a different box and talk about shipping you a new one. It is only a flag but it's best to just let them start the order they way they think it works. It is usually resolved before then.
However there might be an easier solution.. Swap the 2 boxes.
