I was wondering if it was at all possible to have all 3 weather services put on FiOS? I mean we have so many news and sports channels, why not have multiple weather services as well? Is it possible to have The Weather Channel, AccuWeather and WeatherNation TV available on FiOS and let the subscriber pick which channel he or she wishes to view. I don't understand why there are so many news and sports channels to pick from, but only 1 weather service. Personally, I like WeatherNation TV both for its national and local forecasts. WeatherNation TV even has a regional 5 minute local forecast with a meteorologist explaining the maps and outlooks on demand like you used to have from The Weather Channel on channel 49, but a bit better. I use it on my Roku. I live too far away from the Boston area to even be seen on the local maps and forget the local forecast. Everything is all Boston. If we had a choice on weather programming, to be able to pick which one we like would be the best. Please bring back The Weather Channel and add WeatherNation TV to the lineup with AccuWeather and let us decide what to watch, For the amount of money we spend each month on this service, it's the least you can do. Thanks
They come at a cost.
And every content provider charges based on the number of subscribers not people that actually watch the channel.
It is has been suspected that Accuweather is almost free to Verizon.
Verizon stated that their info showed that the number of subscribers didn't support the cost to TWC.
I miss The Weather Channel. Especially when we have a blizzard bearing down on us, it would be very helpful to have. Accuweather just plain sucks. It is pointless, and I'm not sure why they even have a channel. Worthless.

And paying for TWC is pointless and worthless considering every single solitary news outlet is carrying the Storm like it is the coming of the end of the world.
A few years ago on one of Washington, DC WUSA 9's digitial subchannels, we had WeatherNation TV, with local weather on a info bar and there were cut ins from the Channel 9 weather center every 10 mintues, it was better than the Weather Channel with has too many realtiy shows and Accuweather which doesn't cover all the areas. If you could do WeatherNationTV with its "Pure Weather" along with some type of local forceast that would be all I need.
