I'm in the Philadelphia market and last night I went to watch the Flyers Devils game listed on channel 590 NBC Sports and was dissapointed to see MMA boxing. Was the game blacked out for some reason? I called Verizon support and was on hold for an hour and gave up. Very frustrating!! Any info would be appreciated

The game you wanted to watch was on TCN (The Comcast Network) NOT Comcast Sportsnet - Comcast uses this as an "overflow" channel when 2 Philly teams are playing at the same time. TCN is an SD only channel on FiOS so I never watch games on it.
The game was not shown on Comcast so why was ir blacked out on NBC-SN?

There was a Flyers game on last night on Comcast channel not blacked out!! It must be some network powerplay with Comcast where they could care less about the viewer.

Yea, I think the Sixers were playing that night. It's still **bleep**.
