NEW CHANNEL ADDED!!!

Although no notice or announcement was given, the FearNET channel added, confirmed in VHO7 and 8.  It is located on Channel 197.  Unfortunately, it is the SD channel only...but perhaps the addition means that the HD feed will follow...someday!

Hello film11, the FEARnet HD channel should be added in the future.

Thanks Ron, although I don't expect it until sometime in 2011. (I've heard that 3 more sports channels are being added first. *sigh*)    Now if we could only get...oh, never mind!

I think there should be a jock package. No pun intended. Package as in channel package.

LOL!!  I totally agree...have a "jock" package containing all of the sports channels (since sports fans need to see every single game with every single team inb exiastence), a "domestic" package (cooking, gardening, shopping, etc.), and, of course, a movie package with all the movie channels (except for HBO, which doesn't count) for us cinephiles.  Each package at a flat rate.  Of course, a la carte would be better, but I'll believe that's coming when I actually see it offered.

What package do you need to get this channel? I have Extreme HD and I'm not getting it. Smiley Sad

A "jock" package would be great ... provided that basic service included a reasonable smattering of the core sports channels (like ESPN, BigTen, etc.) ,,, or the ability to get individual channels added.   While I enjoy college football in the fall on ESPN, Big Ten, ESPN2, etc. --- I don't need the channels which show every obtuse imaginable sport on the planet, repeat games from two decades ago, focus on sports in which I have no interest (like soccer, tennis, etc.), and show sports which, well, you really can't actually "watch" (the fishing channel ... really?!? .. OK, yes, I know it's not just a bunch of guys sitting in lawn chairs drinking beer next to a lake ... but the image works ... :-))

Anyhow ... I would love for Verizon to package up some of these more obtuse offerings and take them off the cost on the basic pacakages and free up some revenue  streams to bring in other channels.

I don't want to deny anyone their enjoyment of these channels if it's their thing ... but please, let's not force it upon the rest of us.
