What has happened to NFL Network? All of a sudden it is completely absent from the channel lineup. Is it off Fios totally or has it been moved to the premium packages only? If the second case is true than how come it isn't on the channel listings at all like other channels like this will be. Or am I just missing that it's been moved to another channel number?

On NFL Network, live preseason games are non-exclusive, and must be blacked out within 90 miles of both teams' cities. The idea is that local stations or regional sports networks have exclusive rights to show the games in these areas. Conversely, a preseason game shown on a regional sports network must be blacked out outside of the 90 mile zone. This rule only applies to preseason games, but it is enforced by the NFL, and Verizon has no control over it. In any case the channel will return in these regions after the game is over.
Where are you located, and what FiOS TV package do you have? I am in North Texas and am watching the Steelers/Giants game right now on NFL Network, channel 588. I have the old HD Extreme package from 2009.

I forgot about the blackout thing. The channel did come back on my listings after the game ended.
