If you look at the FIOS channel lineup online, there are mixed messages:
Look at the .pdf file and it says NFL RED Zone is part of the Ultimate package
Look at the standard on-line web page version and there is no check box next to Red Zone meaning it's NOT part of the package
Anyone know if it is or is not???
Redzone is off the air until next season. No its not part of the Ultimate, Its not part of any package. It is a premium service at 59.99 per year. Will be available for order next football season.
spacedebris - the PDF for Massachusetts pretty clearly has NFL Red Zone on the Ultimate HD package (pg. 6): http://www22.verizon.com/NROneRetail/NR/rdonlyres/46E047BD-EEB7-400E-BAEE-249C995D33E4/0/MASS_Jan201...
It was also included in an internal PDF leaked prior to the package changes in January: http://www.dslreports.com/r0/download/1502331~4bd67fc4b4addc7185428f4d712db2f1/2010_FiOS_Bundles_Wes...
Ultimate HD:
Over 385 channels including over 90 in HD!
Yeah, I've seen those and I spoke to my friend at Verizon. He says that they are not sure where this so called "leaked" internal memo came from, but the offical channel list that was sent to him last week says specifically that the redzone will not be included on any package. Now, that may change but the official web page does not list the redzone

I just spoke to a sr. person in Verizon sales last night on the phone based on an issue I am having and reading off what seemed to be a script it sounded like it WAS part of the ultimate package (not sunday ticket, just red zone channel). This is also what the channel lineup PDF says.
The only thing that doesn't say it is the on-line channel listing (non pdf) but this may be because it's not updated or because it's off season.
I just spoke to a CSR because it's been a year and I need to renew my triple bundle. I was inquiring about what was included in the Ultimate HD package and she insisted that the NFL Red Zone was part of the package. I questioned it a couple of times but whatever she was looking at had it listed. If I order the Ultimate bundle how can I be sure that come September I will be able to access the Red Zone? What proof is there that I really have it? Can't someone at Verizon clarify this once and for all??
