Netflix 838 problems; letterboxing on exit

For the past few months, every time I watch Netflix on channel 838 and then exit to return to Live TV, the picture has large black bars on top and bottom and aspect ratio is reduced to 480. The only way to get full 1080 is a hard reboot of the STB. Any firmware coming to fix this terrible problem?
