Netflix screen is black

When I go onto the netlfix channel (838) the screen goes straight to black. If I press the "previous" button on my remote then it begins playing a show. Once I hit exit on the show, the screen goes straight to black again. I have turned everything on and off. I have also tried all of the different ways to access netflix. My tv just began doing this out of nowhere
