New HD Set top box and Multi-room DVR

I just activated a new HD DVR set top box, but it's not seeing any of the shows recorded on the other HD DVR set top box that I've had for over a year.

Do I just need to wait for the new box/service to be recognized/activated with the hub (the HD DVR I had prior to now) or do I need to call Verizon to make sure they add the multi-room dvr service to the box I just received?

If you replaced your dvr that had all your recordings on it, you wont have any of those shows on the new one because they are stored on the dvr itself.   But maybe im misunderstanding you, are you trying to watch recordings on a 2nd dvr, the multiroom feature does not work from dvr to dvr you can only stream to 6200,7100, and  2500 series stbs.

I thought I could use the multi-room dvr between 2 HD DVRs. Is this something that's possibly coming in the future?

I want to change my current SD STB (QIP2500-3) to a HD STB (not a DVR) but from what I understand by doing so I will no-longer be able to access any recordings (SD or HD) on the HD Media Centre DVR  (QIP6416-2). Is this correct?

If yes, also appreciate know if this is planned to change.

I as well will be upgrading a standard STB to an HD STB (not a DVR one) in the near future and would like to know if the recorded programs on the DVR HD STB we already have can be sent to a non-DVR HD STB for viewing.

Multi-room viewing is supported with both SD and HD STBs (but not other DVRs).
