New Local Channel

I was wondering if you could please add chanel 55 WLNY Riverhead, NY to the Verizon lineup in Westerly, RI?  Riverhead is only across Long Island Sound from us and is very local.  Thanks

Verizon doesn't answer to channel status.

Maybe try contacting the local channel to see if they are talking to Verizon.

BTW, do other cable providers in your area carry this channel?

I believe they are not local by FCC rules.  It is or was a CBS affiliate.  If there is another CBS station serving your area, it usually not allowed to be carried.
