I just noticed this a few minutes ago. I have 2 desktop computers connected to my home wired network. Under "This PC" I see a parent folder named "Family Room" (the name I gave to the new Quantum DVR when I set it up) and under that folder there are folders named "Channels 1 thru 100, 101 thru 200 and so on, ending with Channels 1901 thru 2000. When I click on those folders, they are empty.
What are these for ?

It's for a new DLNA feature that came with the recent new update. There's a lot of talk about it over on dslreports.com in the Fios forums, but it looks like it hasn't been completely activated yet as no one seems to be able to use the feature yet.

I enabled home sharing on the DVR and now I can watch live TV on my computer using KODI. I had to configure it using the uPNP feature in settings. Not all my subscribed channels work though. Only about 20-30 channels, most in the 500's. Music Choice works but buffers at the beginning of every song.
The only device that can decode these streams is a Playstation 3. It would be nice if a regular Windows PC could do it, but alas it can not. Still no way to watch Fios on a Windows PC.
