New STB for HDMI out to tuner needed?

I have a QIP 7216 STB/DVR and it has only component video out with optical audio out.  My tuner won't output via HDMI if its input is component.   Is there a Verizon STB/DVR upgrade that will provide HDMI out to my tuner to I can utilize HDMI out to my TV.  I've got component cables going from tuner to TV and it's a  mess.

Hello!

Apologies if I misunderstood you, but according to google the 7216 box does have an HDMI output. You could connect this HDMI output to your tuner and then connect the tuner HDMI to the television. 

(The HDMI port should be on the back panel of the set top box, next to the USB port)

I believe you have the wrong picture, but yes all of Verizon HD STB AND HD DVR have a HDMI output.
