I see a new widget has been added, allowing you to view your twitter or facebook page. Pretty cool idea. One problem however is that both my wife and I use FB and it will only save one user. Kind of a pain to have to switch users by logging in and out of both, especially with the remote as the keyboard.
Now it would be nice to view your Verizon email on the TV. Anyone know if that is a planned feature?

Really great that Verizon added those widgets. I assume they are first of many to come.
I wish VZ would add a Picasa and Flickr widgets. I would love to be able to access those accounts and look at my photo albums. Widgets to access popular webmail services like Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail as well as IM chat clients would be really good to have. Another cool widget would be a some sort of SMS/IM/chat widgets to talk to the mobile phones or other FIOS TV customers.

Check out the Verizon at home blog.
Its under this forums site. Coming will be some new features that are making FIOS stand out against the competition. For my wife she will use the FB Widget due to increased PC usage with the kids.

I agree with TimelordJoe in adding YouTube as it would be the ultimate Public Access channel. Kind of like the leap from writing to a newspapers op ed section (where they may print your letter) to blogging (where you're always published).
YouTube: where you don't have to tell your friend to watch your show on channel 12 at 1:45AM after the Pottery Show.
