New channel package without sports - Select HD

VerizonTV  is offering a a new HD channel package that does not include any sports channels.

Sounded good to me until I found out that TNT and a few others were not included.

ALSO ...the full NY package is also not included to us locals.  YES, SNY and MSG.  Yes, I know.  They are sports channels.  But they are NY channels!  MSG does a lot of non -sports NY related programming.  If the locals were included ... I'd sign on to this package.

It's a cool idea, but I don't like that it has channels that Prime HD doesn't have, which we pay more for... a little backwards? I understand they want to compesate for missing Sports channels, but that's also why you pay less, no?
