No Cartoon Network HD?

I just switched to FIOS from cable and there is no Cartoon Network HD (mainly for Star Wars Clone Wars), not to mention the lack of BBC America HD. I would gladly trade about 100 of the other useless channels to get these two. Please, Verizon, take away OWN, Lifetime, Oxygen, We, MTV, anything international or religious, and give me something I will actually watch.

Oh, for something positive, I like the guide. If you want to see what a guide should *not* look like, go to a friend's house who has Comcast. I think I programmed something like that when I was 8 on my cousin's Commodore 64. Only my stuff looked better.

Why would you want BBC America which carries international programmes if you don't want anything international? To be honest, I could less for most American programmes.

couldn't agree more.  i was appalled when i discovered that.  i want to watch adult swim in HD!!  i had dish network and i am thinking about switching back.  it's been 3 weeks and i just hate everything about FIOS TV!

If you hate it so much then why on earth did you switch in the first place!?!?!? Especially if you think the the Dish is so great? Personally, had the Dish network at our beach house (because FiOS was not available) and while they had certain fuctions I liked better than FiOS the fact that 2/3rds of the channels would go out every single solitary time it rained proved to me how bad the Dish really is. Also, if you think FiOS is so bad, maybe you should switch to Comcast, then you will be in for a REAL treat!!! LOL

I don't consider BBCA to be international (they are about to show Battlestar Galactica for goodness sake), it's not in Spanish, Punjabi, or Arabic. I will clarify: I'll give up anything not in English, plus the lame chick flick of the week channels, to get BBCA and Cartoon Network in HD. Of course, Verizon won't give us that choice, but there is no excuse for not giving us those channels in HD. Every channel available in HD should be offered or else there is no point in having fiber to the house. They built a big pipe, now they should use it.

Uh oh...well, the rumor I've heard is that no CARTOON HD is coming soon...but they may be adding yet another Spanish channel.  (I guess, like the .tv channels, the three current Spanish HD channels just aren't enough!)

Adding HD channels is difficult if you don't have the QAM space.

That being said I'd like to see Cartoon network [adult swim] programming currently on SD VOD be available in HD VOD the way we have with Comedy Central. That would satisfy me till the HD channel lghts up.

At the moment they have a few recently opened up QAM channels.

They have added EPIX 2 (live in some areas and soon in all), but have space for 5 more full HD channels.
