No Local Forecast On The Weather Channel

I have the Weather Channel on FIOS but I don't get my local forecast.

Things may be different where you are, but here in Tidewater Virginia (VHO 9A) we get the "big picture" in HD on CH 619, but the local forecast is still available on 119 in SD at the usual "on the 8s" times.

You don't state where your location is, since the results vary from location to location.

The NYC Metro has:

1) Channel 49 - Weatherscan from Weather channel

2) Channel 119 Weather Channel's "Weather on the 8's"

3) Channel 619 Weatherchannel HD but only national "Weather on the 8's

4) FIOS News Channels 1/501  (Hudson Valley, Long island or Northern New Jersey)

I prefer option 1 or 4 as the Weather Channel rarely has weather, but now chooses to put on all kinds of weather related reality shows.
