I recently switched to Fios from Time Warner and purchased the preferred package along with MLB Extra Innings. Today there was an afternoon game (Boston /Cleveland) which was carried on the MLB network and was not available on the Extra Innings Channel which evidently would cost me an additional $20/month. I can't believe I am paying a significant sum of money to purchase the extra package to supposedly receive all out of market MLB games but evidently do not have access to all out of market games. This was not the case with Time Warner who carried MLB ( and the Golf Channel) for that matter as part of their standard package.
If you are subscribed to the EI package then you should have access to all the out of market games. As I just posted in another thread they seem to be having some problems. Verizon needs to fix these issues as this isn't a cheap package to have less than 100% for what you are supposed to receive.
