No access to MTV app on Apple TV or through the web

I have a "Fios Select" TV plan, which includes MTV.    When I try to sign on and authorize my Apple TV to watch a show on the MTV app, or when I try to watch a show through, I'm asked to sign into my Verizon account, which I do successfully, but the app or website tell me that I need to have "Fios Premium". 

I don't understand what's going on here.    I'm paying for a cable package that includes MTV.      Why is it requiring me to have FIOS Premium?

I believe it probably said you need preferred. Which is the new naming for the same plan. Couple questions. Is the username connected to your current account? Did you ever go to What services do you have? Do you have a cable box? Does any video  on demand content work on the Verizon website or mobile app?
