On more than one occasion, I have been watching an on demand program that disables fast forwarding and it suddenly crashes. Sometimes the resume play option has disappeared and sometimes resume play starts me back at the start anyway.
After 45 minutes of a 1 hour program, I am sent back to the beginning of the show and can't fast forward.
Why does this happen?
I understand that the content providers want viewers to watch commercials, but why I can't skip forward and watch any commercials from that point going forward? Even if I can't fast forward commercials, it would be better than having to watch an entire program again from the beginning.
Is this something that Verizon can fix?
Do you have any Internet issues?
Does it happen from more than 1 STB?
On the fast forwasrd issue, MOST, but not all, On Demand channels don't allow fast forward. Its up to the channel provider.
