Can the "Community Access" channels be moved to higher channel locations and use channels 20 through 45 for networks that are more popular.
Short answer, NO.
And, why does it matter?
At this time Verizon will not be relocating any of its channels
The PEG channels appear to be in that range for all markets, and many are mandated by local franchise agreements. Are you proposing that all Verizon lineups and franchise agreements are completely redone, or just that the Philadelphia market is switched around and completely different from everyone else?
Hmm everyone has an opinion. BTW I'm completely disgusted BET is next to PBS Sprout (aka PBS Kids). I can just see my soon to be toddler turning on the TV watching Barney and hitting the remote channel up and having some gangster / slap my b**** rap garbage blaring.
Yes I know I'll have to lock all those channels... but it would be nice not to have one of the worst channels next to PBS Sprout. I may even switch to Cablevision later next year if Verizon can not match the price.
At least it's not next to Hot Choice (1005)
