Picture gets staticky and the sound cuts out

Recently only one one of our cable boxes the pictures has a lot more static and the sound completely cuts out.  We have tried to reboot the box and also run a check on the box.  Both do nothing to correct this issue.  This has only been occuring for roughly 2 weeks now and is only on 1 of our 3 boxes.  It is sparatic when the box decides to act up.

You can try to swap the set top box at another working location. This will tell you if you have a bad box or a bad coax leg.
