How can we as the subscribers get rid of the pop-up advertising that occurs more often than the commercials. Internet browser designers had to add a blocker to their browser, why can't Verizon add it to their Set Top mboxes as an option. It seems to me that the pop-up should be on a differnet frequency/band and therfore could be filtered.
I almost want to just rely on DVD's and public broadcasts rather than pay the money I am paying to have all of the scheduled commercials plus pop-ups. I really don't need to know about a new show during one I waited to see.
I bought a TiVo and never see Popups. Not like before. I don't think the intention is to filter them, but to sell them.
