Problem when going from guide back to TV.

I seem to be having a problem when going from the guide to the TV program itself.

Lets say Im watching FOX NEWS and then bring up the guide, I can now see the 1.9 guide and a small preview of the channel I was watching within the guide itself.

If I then select another channel, say HBO and press select the new channel comes up but only at the same size and location of where the preview window was.

To resolve this I have to go back to the guide and try selecting the channel again until it appears full screen.

The same may happen if I bring up the ON DEMAND channels, the selected program will appear where the Verizon logo was and again I have to keep re-selecting until it appears full screen.

This is becoming rather frustrating and annoying... is there a current solution to this problem ?

Have you tried rebooting your STB to start with?  I have 1.9 and don't have a problem with that.  If it was a problem you would have heard many complaints.

There is a reboot option under Customer Support, In-home agent.

Give that a try and report back your results.
