Problem with DVR playback

Lately while watching a recorded program, the DVR stops in the middle of playback and goes back to the DVR menu.  Anyone else have this problem?

Does it happen one every show or just sometimes?

Can you resume from where it left off?

Does it do it more than once per show?

It doesn't happen on every show, but it does happen at least once a day. Sometimes it does happen  more than once in the same show. It goes back to the beginning of the show so we have to fast forward to where it stopped.

Not sure what is causing it.

But you can use chaptering to make it a bit less painful.

WHen playing, hit the up arrow (over ok).

You will see some time stamps. Just scroll to about where you left off and then adjust with ffwd or rew to go to your exact spot.

I agree you shouldn't have to, but short of getting a replacement DVR, that is the best I know of.
