QIP 7232 - discrete code for menu key.

Hi,

I have a Motorola QIP 7232 DVR.  I'm looking for the discrete code for the menu key.  I have a vulkano lava(hava) DVR recorder which uses an IR blaster to control the set-top box.  Until recently a simple "menu" command before starting recording, would awaken the set-top box.  Recently the " Press Menu to watch FIOS TV" screen has added a "Did You Know?"  box.  It seems like the menu command no longer works from that screen.

The vulkano lava has a virtual remote.  Pressing "menu" from the virtual remote does awaken the STB.  That shows that my IR blaster is positioned correctly for the commands to recent.

Within the vulkano lava set up there is the ability to send IR codes, I'm hoping I can send the correct menu string using that option.  Unfortunately I can't seem to find what those codes are.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Why turn the box off?

It doesn't save any electricity.

Just leave STB on and turn TV off.
