I FIND THIS WHOLE REQUEST AMUSING... LOOKING AT THE YEARS OF SUGGESTIONS POSTED, HOW MANY OF THESE SUGGESTIONS WERE ACTUALLY USED... NOT MANY IF ANY... THE PROBLEM WITH THESE SITES IS THAT MOST PEOPLE JUST LET OFF STEAM...AND OF COURSE VERIZON EITHER HAS NO IDEA WHAT PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT OR DON'T CARE...

P.S...THIS IS THE IMMEDIATE RESPONSE FROM.....

Hi JVC527,

I'm one of the community moderators. I wanted to send you a quick note of thanks for participating on the community. It looks like our other members were helpful in providing an answer to your question which is terrific! If any of their responses solved your question, would you mind marking the solution as accepted?

Marking the accepted solution allows members to quickly identify solutions that have worked, and helps identify outstanding questions. To mark a solution as accepted, simply navigate back to your original post , identify the solution that solved your question and click on the green "Accept as Solution" icon.

Again thank you for participating and we hope to see you back very soon!

NOW THIS RESPONSE MAKES A LOT OF SENSE...NOT

(NO ONE HAD RESPONDED TO MY POSTING PRIOR TO THIS RESPONSE)

there's a lot that goes into adding channels, franchise agreements, licensing agreements and capacity issues.  Fios doesn't have infinite capacity until it upgrades to iptv or SDV - so until then they are working inside of a box as far as the number of channels they can add.  at the idea exchange people have posted channels that they want, and fios works to get those channels,  right now they are in a legal storm trying to fight for MSGHD and have it in front of the FCC because another company is blocking the request.   there was a request for BET HD and they are adding that next, plus another channel (i think fsc hd)

The channel suggestions are best put in the idea exchange so peers can vote on it, and you can get a feel for how much demand is there for a channel, and verizon marks them as accepted or under review etc.....  so that might be a good place to throw up some of your suggestions.

We'd all like them to add more channels and faster, and hopefully that will get better as they transition to iptv or SDV.

I want the Howard Stern channel or I am going back to Comast Cable.  I have been waiting over 2 years and you still have not added it and I am tired of waiting.  Please give me a date it will be available or I will check alternatives.

Once again, you need to put your request on the Idea Exchange and vote there instead of reviving old threads. This has already been requested.
