I can record on the DVR but when I go to watch that channel, there is no sound with the box that is recording. I can watch it from a box that doesn't have the recording feature and it has sound with no problems. I have sound if I go to the HD channel but the channel I'm recording on has no sound. This just defeats the purpose of having the DVR set to record 2 shows and needing to watch one. How can this be fixed?
Please reboot your DVR box. This is dont by unplugging its power cord for 1 minute then plugging back in.
I a great picture with my DVR recording but no sound when I playback - not from DVR or set top boxes.
I'm having the same problem with my DVR recordings. This "reboot" didn't help, unless it's only going to help future recordings. It didn't help previous recordings, and I know that the sound of the show, as it aired, was working fine.
Any other suggetions?
