Recordings gone after power outage - Hard drive damaged?

Had a power outage yesterday, and my recordings were gone. I've recorded a couple shows since then, but notice that only one hard drive is shown with DVR at 4% full. I have an external drive also, and the system says it's enabled. Is my internal drive disabled?

Did myou have recordings on internal drive before? My understanding is that when using external drive, everything goes there. Nothing on internal.

The answer turned out to be simple. The internal hard drive was not damaged. The external hard drive, out of sight in the back of my cabinet, was turned off due to the power outage. Should have checked.
