This is more of a minor annoyance than a problem, but wondering if someone has an answer.
I have a LG TV and a P265 remote. Everything works fine (using code the LG code 210), except the STB button not only power cycles the box, but the TV as well. Is there anyway to have it ONLY power the box and leave the TV alone? I would actually prefer it this way.
By the way, on two other Samsung TVs, it does work this way. The STB box powers the box, and the TV does not turn on/off. I have to press the TV button separately to power the TV, which is how I prefer it.
Thanks

Google the remote and verizon. (or look in hte manual if you have one).
There is a procedure to eperate TV and STB power operation.

Didn't have a manual, but found a PDF of it online. Saw the solution was in there. Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction.
Solution was to press OK and 2, then enter the code 977.
Thanks again.
