Hoping someone can help with this mystery. My remote started behaving erratically and intermittently (or not at all). I replaced the remote and the STB thinking they were defective. The new box and remote had the same issue. I swapped the box with another STB from another room and confirmed that it's the location of the STB, not the box or remote. So, this seems to be some kind of interference problem. However, nothing in the room or the TV has changed. I've tried moving things around but cannot get the remote functioning properly. Does anyone have a fix?

Have you tried replacing the batteries?
