I tend to watch Madmen on On Demand. Fell a few weeks behind, and notice the older episodes are no longer there.
Is this normal? Any chance of them returning?
Is there a set period of time a show will arise before it disappears? On other programs, I notice the episodes stay up there all year.

Using your remote, check your series manager options. You may have it set for only saving
three episodes or something like that.
Good luck!
OP is referring to the retention period of VOD content, not items in the DVR.
And yes, there doesn't seem to be much uniformity in the retention periods from one series to the next.
Some stick around a long time, some are gone in weeks.
