On more than one occasion when I rent a movie for some reason it seems like I am watching my kids scratched DVD. Recently I rented the Dispecable me and was not able to watch it because the movie kept skipping as if it was scratched. It their something that I can do to avoid this????????? This is not the first time that it happens, it has happen with other rentals!!!!
Sorry to hear about the disruption with the video signal. This is caused by one of few things. Please try these steps in sequential order and test the VOD by using a free title afterwards to see if it corrects your trouble.
1) Power the router off and back on (The rentals get sent along the internet path to the boxes)
2) Unscrew the coax cords from the wall to the set top box and from the wall to the router
3) Factory reset router by holding in the reset button on the back of the router 15 seconds
