Restart On Demand Movie

If I turn on HBO or another movie channel I subscribe to and a movie is on that is also available free to me on demand, how do I restart that movie from the beginning? When I first tune to the channel it gives me the option to push the play button to restart but if I don't do it in that few second window, I can't figure out how to restart the movie.
