I was going to return a 3 Set top boxes but I changed my mind and wanted to keep just one but Verizon already sent the box to return them,the shipping label says "Equipment Return QTY: 3",would it be a problem if i just packed 2 boxes and not get charged for the 3rd?

Why are you returning boxes?
My guess is that they will disable it from your account and won't work anyway.
