STB swap

Good morning,

We have an old silver QIP7100 and I'm looking for a way to "upgrade" to the QIP7100-P2.  I'm pretty sure there is no difference in picture or quality because we have both types in house already, but the -P2 is smaller and I'm trying to fit behind a wall mounted TV.  Anyone know of a way I could swap out?

You could try ordering a new one.

Can try asking for p2 model. Or ask to pick it up at local store.

Then just return older one.

BTW, new quantum stbs are a lot smaller except VMS.

You do have to pay a few bucks more and you get some additional features.
