Samsung Users -- How does your remote work?

Are there any Samsung home theater users out there (say you have a late-model TV, the Blu-ray, and an A/V receiver) who can confirm that they can use one remote to adjust sound and at least switch between devices with some model of set top box? If so, do you know what model of set top box you have?

I have a 7232 with a Samsung LN45C630.  I'm curious why you ask the question because as of recent, my DVR becomes non responsive to the remote after a time.
