Set Top Box Lost Internet Connection (potential firmware issue?)

Hey guys, I was recommended to post here.  I recently started using a third party router with my Fios Internet and TV.  I had the guide and everything else functioning fine up until a day or two ago.  Since then, I've lost my guide and the our Set Top Box in the back of the house has lost connection to the internet and I can't get it back up.  I was told that it could be possible that it could be a firmware thing.  Anyone have know of a way for me to check when the last update, and what I might be able to do to regain connection?

Doubtful that it is a firmware issue. When using a 3rd party router you also need a MoCA adapter to create the MoCA LAN for the guide the guide to function. What is yku current setup?
