When I watch on demand (HBO) the show runs a few minutes and the the set top box goes blank and goes through a complete reset and download. Does not happen when I am watching live tv. What might be causing this?

My box has been randomly resetting by itself for a few months now, dam near everyday, twice a day even. I can turn it on in the morning and it just restarts, I can change the channel or going from one recorded show to another and it just shuts down. It is a pain when something is being recorded and I miss a few minutes and I have to hunt down what I missed. I'm starting to think they want me to upgrade and I'm being bullied lol. I have many recordings that I haven't gotten to yet so to just cut my losses is not an option at the moment. $150 a month is entirely to much for this **bleep**, of shows are online to watch so why the high prices!
