Share two TVs with one standard set top box?

Hi!  In the basement I'm setting up a small home gym not far from a rec room with a standard set top box (Motorola QIP 2500-3) that my kids watch.  While inconvenient, will it work to simply alternate two different FiOS coax cables to the two different TV sets?

You can alternate.

Or put a splitter on the output of the STB and run to each TV.
