Should have never left time Warner

We have had Verizon phone for many years,then when fios internet came around we figured we would try it, both the phone and the internet have been great. when fios tv came into our area (clay) we hopped right on the ban wagon, leaving time Warner after many many years, trouble free i might add.Verizon made a deal with us for 2 years locked in at a decent price. things were great for about 8 months...then they started taking  my favorite channels away?????? when i called and asked if they could take the 25 espn channels and 25 baseball,basketball and football channels and let me keep my fishing channel?? they said nope, then i said what about us signing a contract?? they said its just for the price and can actually take any channel or as many as they want away at any time!!! i said if they take all my channels away from the deal i signed  will i still be locked in for the contract??? yes they replied ????? i said thats quite a deal . but after a short time i cooled down, then a few weeks later they took a few more of my favorites!! today i get an email that says im losing the sportsman channel...the last of my outdoor sports channels, BUT if i want to purchase a new more expensive plan , you know more then the one they baited and switch us  away from time Warner with!!!! the one we signed for 2 years with. IT WAS FOOLISH OF ME TO JUST UP AND WALK OUT ON TIME WARNER . now verizon can keep the phone, internet and cable. WHAT A ^%&^#^^&# JOKE. i will make it up to time Warner by talking to as many people as i can , to look at all the facts , and the bait  and switch tactics used by Verizon.... thanks  greg from clay NY.

You are soooooo Right!!!!!! 

I have been with verizon for so many years and hate the tricks they teach All the Techs to tell us what nothing can be done. Greed and Talk, talk, talk.

I appreciate and share some of your anger.  But Time Warner is no better.  Remember,, they took away HDNet and HDNet movies (one of only 2 channels that show movies without alteraions!).  And you didn't have an option to pay more to keep it...they removed them for ALL their subscribers.  In the world of corporate greed, the grass is not always greener on one side or another.

thats true about the grass not being greener , thats why im switching back to time warner. they never took channels from us in the middle of our contract. verizon has done it several times now, also twice i had friends join verizon on there so called (bogus) share the network deal...both times they found away to cheat us out of it. i now go out of my way to talk people out of joining this shady company.its actually making me feel a little better about it, i like to help folks from being mislead .
