Can FiOS pick up Sky News, a UK News channel? It's available in 16:9, and it is a great channel. It'd fit nicely into the diverse FiOS News lineup.

I saw your other posting on BBC World News in 16:9. There are a variety of english language news channels available around the world. I'm sure Verizon has the bandwidth to handle them all. The problem is not bandwidth, it's whether or not there's enough demand for Verizon to add them. It's also a question of whether some of these channels can legally be made available in the US. Many of them have news sharing arrangements with US broacasters that likely prohibit them from airing that content in the US.
I have stated that I'd love for Verizon to add many of these channels. There are enough available that they could almost do it as a special tier of service.
The problem is that while you and I might love such a thing, the vast majority of Verizon subscribers would not care at all.
